First Post...

Well I finally did it, I'm finished my undergraduate degree. I worked hard the past few years, both in school and at my job. Working full time and going to school full time wasn't easy but I made it through. I'm very excited to have some free time now. I'm looking forward to reconnecting with friends. Most of all I am looking forward to not running around crazy all the time. I'll be able to just relax and enjoy life for a while.

On top of the craziness of finishing school and the holidays, I am also applying for summer Child Life internships. The process isn't so much difficult, as it is annoying. Most applications include many different parts including school transcripts. So I've literally been logging onto NKU's website every couple hours to see if grades are posted. Of course the day that grades were finally posted, offices closed for the holidays until January 3rd. Applications are due January 5th. It's not a huge deal, just more of an annoyance then anything.

The purpose of this blog will be to chronicle my new post grad life. I will also talk about the process of becoming a Child Life Specialist, something I hope to have accomplished by this time next year. So until next time, I'll leave this short youtube video my aunt sent me.

Merry Christmas!
